Springtime in South Georgia means it must be time to smoke some meat on the grill! On March 24, 2012 ECHPS will be serving barbeque pork and chicken plates at the Farm and Home Museum across from the Fairgrounds. Barbeque, slaw and pine bark stew plates served ready to go from Noon to 2:00 PM. Money generated through our spring BBQ will fund Bicentennial programs and projects.
Orders should be placed before March 17th. Plates are $6.50 each and contain either pulled pork or chicken half. All orders are to be served for take-out.
We will also be having open house for visitors during the day. We would appreciate having volunteers available to help cook, serve and act as hosts for open house. As you know, our members and friends provide the support necessary to carry out our mission. Our mission is to help Emanuel Countians celebrate our heritage and preserve memories.
Missy says to remind you “Don’t forget to renew your membership!”
