This year, 2012, is the 200th birthday of Emanuel County, having been established in December of 1812. The main celebratory event, co-hosted by the Seedling Garden Club will be “Light Up The Village” on Dec. 8th at the Farm & Home Museum. It will be an old fashioned celebration with Christmas caroling and reenactment of signing the Act creating the County.
