At the April 25 Annual Meeting, ECHPS members and guests enjoyed a delightful musical program presented by Amanda and Brandon Bell, a talented husband-and-wife duo. Keeping with the spirit of preserving history, the Bells shared the origin and history of old hymns and Irish songs before singing each one.
The Emanuel County Historic Preservation Society met at the Farm and Home Museum for the annual meeting. Prior to the entertainment, the members and guests enjoyed a delicious covered dish supper.
Following the supper, George Elder presided over the business meeting, and John Derden presented the board members and officers for 2019-2020.
Missy Elder introduced Amanda and Brandon Bell who also partnered with ECHPS to provide music for Pine Bark Stew during our celebration of the Bicentennial. We are grateful to Brandon and Amanda for sharing their talents with us!
