The purpose of ECHPS is to celebrate our heritage and preserve our memories. One way we accomplish our purpose is through our work at the Farm and Home Museum. Our goal there is to consolidate a group of structures, in a museum format, that demonstrate various segments of early life and local history.
Another goal is to share information about area or regional history. We do this by speaking to local civic clubs, by writing books about Emanuel County history, and by having special programs at our quarterly meetings, to which the public is invited.
You are invited to join us in preserving our heritage and celebrating our memories by visiting the Museum, sharing information about Emanuel County history, attending our meetings, or becoming a member. Annual membership is only $10 per individual, $20 per couple, and $5 per student.
